It is apparent to both of them that Samantha has fallen in love with him and they become very involved in each other's lives. However, Samuel smiles only seems to show him the past; however , Samantha and Christopher soon find out that he has a future as well.Samantha and Christopher start a new relationship. Christopher becomes infatuated with Samantha. Samantha tries to set things right by contacting Samuel Smiles and he has no idea what is happening. Samantha keeps to herself because she fears that Samuel Smiles is going to ruin their relationship and she feels she has been duped.Samantha and Christopher continue on and they move in together. Samantha and Christopher decide to go to the farm of Samuel Smiles but before they leave, Samantha tells Christopher what happened to Samuel Smiles. However, Christopher still decides to go to the farm with Samantha because he is not interested in making a relationship with Samantha.
